Additional Information

The Ye Olde Clipper dart league will host Cricket, 501 and 701 games.  This is your chance to play against other local dart players to test your skills and rise to the top of the league!

Cricket:

  • The objective is to close B, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 ,20 and to achieve the highest point score. The player or team to do so first is the winner.
  • Closing a number is when a player or team hits a number 3 times.  This can be accomplished with three singles, a single and a double, or a triple.
  • To close the bullseye, the outer bull counts as a single, and the inner bull counts as a double.
  • Once a player or team closes an inning, they may score points on that number until the opponent also closes that inning.
  • The player or team which closes all innings first and has the most points, is the the winner.

501:

  • Usually played as teams.
  • Go from 501 points to zero points faster than your opponent.
  • The number you hit on the board subtracts from your score (double and triple lines count as such).
  • The winner must hit a double to win the game (if you have 40 points left you need a double twenty to win the game. If you throw the exact number of points in your score without a double last you start over from that score. You also bust if you shoot a number larger than your current score).

701:

  • Usually played as teams.
  • Go from 701 points to zero points faster than your opponent.
