Ye Old Clipper Tavern

Onondaga County's oldest bar - est. 1882

The Past, Present & Future

Our History

Ye Olde Clipper Tavern is Onondaga County's oldest licensed alcohol establishment, formed in 1882!  It went through a couple name changes and owners but still kept its neighborhood roots.  The building and interior needed some love after 136 years and that's exactly what we gave it!  You can get more details about Ye Olde Clipper Tavern from this NYup.com article.

Where we are at Now

After all of the updates to the interior and exterior, we re-opened the Ye Old Clipper's doors in January of 2018.  We are offering craft beers, select wines and modern cocktails, while providing a fresh selection of bar foods.

Vision for the Clipper

We want to keep the feel of the local neighborhood bar with the modern amenities of a sports bar.  With the revitalization of the Inner Harbor, Ye Olde Clipper will continue to serve the local patrons as the area grows.
